The Bank of Salem believes in supporting the community beyond the stellar banking services we provide. We are a member of the Salem Area Community Betterment Association (SACBA), a partner in the Salem Community Resource Center, and a corporate sponsor of the Salem Chamber of Commerce.
We are proud to participate in a variety of local events, including the annual Chamber of Commerce Business Expo, 4H / FFA's Livestock Show & Auction, and Salem's 4th of July Parade and Christmas Parade. Our employees volunteer at concessions stands at sporting events and donate their time for the annual bell ringing for the Salvation Army.
In addition, the Judson Young Memorial Educational Foundation is a stockholder of The Bank of Salem. The foundation makes private student loans to local students as well as annual donations to area schools and many community/civic organizations.
